Four-time Grammy Award-winning singer Sam Smith performed on the United Kingdom’s version of ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ a few days ago and shared his feeling regarding this experience during his appearance in BBC’s ‘The One Show,’ which he attended to promote his latest musical release.

The singer, releasing his third studio album titled ‘Love Goes‘ on October 30, described the current times as “weird” and referring to his ‘Diamonds‘ performance on the dancing contest show said that singing behind the dancers was wonderful. Following the long lockdown period, he could not be out of his house, he stated that being at the stage again was great.

During the conversation, Smith also expressed that the pandemic period was hard for him, like the rest of the world. According to what he said, until the lockdown, he had not been in his house for more than three weeks for the last eight years because he was traveling all the time.  Even though all the negatives of that period, he said that he was grateful to receive an opportunity to have a break.

“I get so anxious in front of people on stage and I was getting so anxious toward the end of last year. So, it’s been good for me to have a break.”

However, the singer continued by saying he is definitely missing sweaty rooms and singing songs with people. During the show, Smith also revealed his future plans: British singer will move to the countryside of Scotland and have babies, goats, and sheep.
