2020 Election is a milestone for Selena Gomez: According to what ‘Disney‘ alum said during the ‘Voting Power Hour‘ YouTube stream with Loud Luxury over the weekend, she had participated in a U.S. election for the first time.
Gomez, who dropped her latest musical collaboration titled ‘Ice Cream’ with K-Pop girl band BLACKPINK, stated in the virtual interview with Luxury:
“Honestly, I’m not ashamed to say this, but I kind of, I kind of this was my first time.”
Gomez, recently releasing a photo of herself with an “I Voted” sticker on t-shirt continued:
“And I’m going to say that because I’ve never felt and this is so true and I’m now like admitting it to people, like my vote counts. Like, every little thing counts, so I just think some people get in their head, and they’re like, ‘Oh well, what does it matter?’ And then once I really, really started going in and diving in to this, it’s been all I can focus on.”
Then the actor & singer added that her main focus had been this right now and people could tell on her social media and everything, obviously, she was super invested in this right now: She felt hopeful.
As might be remembered, Gomez went on Instagram Live with ‘Call Me By Your Name’ actor Timothee Chalamet while he was waiting for his turn to vote and urged their followers to fill out their ballots.
