‘Hello’ singer Adele, born Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, took to Instagram intending to express her satisfaction with her ‘Saturday Night Live‘ experience.
Throughout the show, the singer, who hosted the fourth episode of the show’s current season, played a contestant in a parody of ‘The Bachelor,’ portrayed a white woman who is willing to have a relationship with an African man, and an English woman who has an obsession with colouring books.
Adkins uploaded a photo of herself in SNL, and added a caption that reads:
“Had the best time on SNL! Thank you to the most wonderful cast, crew, writers and producers. What a sublime bunch of people you are.”
Adele thanked all of the workers of ‘SNL‘ and told of that she did it for the joy of it, and hoped the audiences got some from it too.
As might fans remember, Adkins said during the show that she could not take about US politics because that she was British; in the caption, she wished good luck to America & people of America with the election:
“Good luck with the election America I love you so much. Look after each other and go easy on yourselves.”
Then the singer wrote the following words that were evaluated as a reference to the dating rumors with English rapper Skepta:
“I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out till next year ♥️”
