The nineteenth season of the reality television series ‘The Voice’ premiered on October 19, 2020, on NBC. John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton returned as coaches for the show, while Gwen Stefani replacing Nick Jonas, who appeared on the last season.
All four coaches took to Instagram to celebrate the new season through their social media accounts. John Legend, who announced that he and his wife Chrissy Teigen had lost their third child named Jack, shared a message on Instagram to release the big news. Legend uploaded a video includes a contestant’s performance, and added a caption that reads:
“A beautiful new season of @NBCTheVoice premieres tonight! I really can’t wait for you to see all the incredible talent. I think it was my favorite set of blind auditions in my four seasons. Tune in to find out who joins #TeamLegend! #VoicePremiere”
The other coach, Kelly Clarkson, who first joined the show as a judge for the series’ fourteenth season, invited fans and followers to watch ‘The Voice’ with the following message she shared through her verified Instagram account:
“I hope y’all get as much joy from @NBCTheVoice this season as I have! A new season begins tonight. #TeamKelly #VoicePremiere”
As for the nine-time Grammy Award nominee Blake Shelton, who won last season, wrote as follows:
“It feels good to be back home! Let’s get it #TeamBlake!! #TheVoice #VoicePremiere”
Gwen Stefani, stating that she was so happy to be back with her “favorite people,” also shared the following message to announce the premiere of the new season:
“Let’s go #TeamGwen! The new season of @nbcthevoice starts now 🎉 gx #VoicePremiere”
