Kanye West Reacts To Issa Rae’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ Joke

Kanye West, announced he was running for president a few months ago, responded to actor Issa Rae, who made a joke on ‘Saturday Night Live’ latest episode about the rapper’s 2020 presidential election campaign.

The “Insecure” actor portrayed an NAACP lawyer appearing on the talk show ‘Your Voice Chicago’ hosted by Kenan Thompson, in ‘SNL’ sketch. When she asked regarding the upcoming presidential election, the character played by Sae responded:

“I’ll be honest, I’m voting for everybody Black.”

Then Thompson asked about Kanye West, she said:

Kanye? F him!”

Once the episode was released, the rapper, who declared his first presidential campaign ad in October, responded to the joke with a tweet that reads:

“I’ve always said SNL uses black people to hold other black people back. My heart goes out to Issa Rae I’m praying for her and her family.”

West also added a screenshot of the actor’s Google search results in Spanish, and continued his message as follows:

“I know that the twenty years of service that I’ve paid in the entertainment field has furthered our ability to be more successful.”

As fans remember, West appeared as a musical guest on ‘Saturday Night Live’ show multiple times.
