Billboard Music Awards winner, Miley Cyrus took to Twitter in order to celebrate her latest album achievement.
Cyrus, posted a series of photos of herself in a shiny outfit teamed up with crystal-covered long black gloves, and captioned it by referring to her music release ‘Midnight Sky’ that continues to hit number 1 at the UK radio its 6th week.
The singer also announced that the said single had broken the record for most weeks at the top this year. Here is what Cyrus wrote on her verified Twitter account:
“Midnight Sky is on her 6th week #1 at UK radio! Broke the record for most weeks at the top in 2020. Thank YOU so much for all the love you show me and my art! It’s my honor makin music for you!”
The ‘Party in the U.S.A.’ hitmaker released the song, which is the lead single of her upcoming seventh studio album entitled ‘She Is Miley Cyrus,’ on August 14, 2020, through RCA Records. A shortly after the release, as fans remember, Cyrus explained the song’s background during an interview with Billboard:
“You just definitely want to feel like you are just in control of your own life and not trying to control anyone else’s, so for me to be able to really have a good, clear understanding of the last two years, which there was some traumatic experiences, losing the house in Malibu and going through a really public breakup, I think I just really needed some clarity. And so it was just really important to me to be able to like really sit with my thoughts.”
In just one week, ‘Midnight Sky’, written by Cyrus, Ali Tamposi, Ilsey Juber and Jon Bellion, became one of the most notable releases and received universal acclaim from music critics.
