On World Mental Health Day, Anne-Marie took to Instagram and highlighted the importance of talking about mental health by mentioning her own story.

The singer, who released her third single, ‘To Be Young,’ on 17 July 2020, featuring rapper Doja Cat, teamed up with All on the Board and wrote a conversation on the customer information boards on display in London tube stations to raise awareness about mental health issues.

Anne-Marie, posted a photo of the board for which she had created the content, first thanked for the opportunity for spreading positive and informative messages, then continued:

“It is so important for me to talk about mental health and spread awareness of it as I would never have realised my own, without reading other people’s journeys/experiences and stories. So THANK YOU to anyone who speaks out about it. You helped me speak out and start my mental health journey.

The ‘Rockabye’ hitmaker, who is familiar with talking about social issues such as Covid-19, body positivity, and white privilege, concluded her message by encouraging people to ask for help for their mental issues if they need:

“And to anyone out there struggling or wondering, it’s never too late. A mental health journey is an important and good one to go on. We will be ok ❤️❤️❤️”
