Halsey, born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, graced the cover of TIME magazine’s Next Generation Leaders issue. The singer, who was recently included on the same magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2020, shared the cover through her verified Instagram account and expressed her feelings concerning that having been named one of their 2020 Next Generation Leaders:

Supremely honored to appear on the cover of @time. And eternally grateful to bear witness to an incredible generation that amazes me every single day with their unbridled passion for making this world a better place.”

The official Instagram account for TIME magazine also released the news regarding the latest issue with Halsey cover.

“@iamhalsey has been unable to tour due to coronavirus restrictions, but has found a new purpose in activism and advocacy. “You vote for humanity, or you don’t,” she says. “You vote for a racist or you don’t. That’s the black and white of it to me.”

In the cover story, the platinum-selling artist said:

There is no such thing as a perfect activist. Everyone has said something, done something wrong. I fall in between two chairs which means sometimes, I end up on the floor.”

This month, the ‘Bad at Love’ singer also featured on V Magazine cover to urge people to vote in the upcoming presidential election.

“My face is on the cover of @vmagazine this month reminding you to GO! VOTE! Seriously. You can’t miss it. It’s written all over me. Your willingness to take action on a single day of voting will birth results that effect generations to come. Be a catalyst for good! @plus1vote !!!”
