The ‘Destiny’s Child’ alum Kelly Rowland is expecting her second baby with husband Tim Weatherspoon; she revealed the happy news regarding her pregnancy through the November cover of Women’s Health.
In the cover story, the ‘Dilemma’ singer stated about having a second child:
“We had been talking about it loosely, and then COVID happened, and we were just like, ‘Let’s see what happens.’”
Rowland also added that she was hesitant to release her baby news while the United States is experiencing political and racial strife, and continued:
“But you still want to remind people that life is important. And being able to have a child… I’m knocking at 40’s door in February. Taking care of myself means a lot to me.”
The expectant mother, who already shares a 5-year-old son named Titan with Weatherspoon, also shared the cover of the magazine on her verified Instagram account adding the following note:
“SURPRISE!! My @womenshealthmag cover issue is online now and on newsstands next week!”
Following the post, many of her industry friends sent their well wishes on social media:
“Awwwwww bless you beautiful!!!!! Bless your gorgeous and sweet family!!!! Sending you all my love ❤️❤️❤️” wrote, Khloe Kardashian.
