Christina Aguilera Shares Never-Seen-Before Photos In Honor Of National Hispanic Heritage Month

Five-time Grammy Award winner singer & songwriter, Christina Aguilera goes on respecting and praising her Hispanic roots. In National Hispanic Heritage Month (15 September to 15 November) that was marked to recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the country, Aguilera took to Instagram and shared never-seen-before photos of her and her family.

Alongside the photo series including Aguilera’s childhood photos, the singer added the following note:

“In honor of #HispanicHeritageMonth – I’ve been rummaging through old photos of mis abuelos and my dad, and listening to old music I grew up with in my household. My dad was born in Ecuador and I’ll always cherish that side of my family and the culture they instilled in me. ❤️”

One of the world’s best-selling music artists, who refused to notable names working for show business who had wanted her to change her Hispanic surname, also heralded that she had set a special playlist consisting of Latin music:

“So, I decided to make a playlist for you guys of some of my favorite Latin music, both new songs and old classics. Link to the Spotify playlist is in my bio! Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do 😘 I’m sharing more old memories on my stories now too! Happy #HispanicHeritageMonth to all my Latinx fans!”

Even though the fans were pleased with the playlist Xtina shared, they asked for her second Spanish album following ‘Mi Reflejo’ that was released in September 2000:

“Or maybe you could just release your second Spanish album ? 💿 🎵 🎼”

“We want “El bendito álbum en Español“😂💛✨”

Where’s the new Spanish album Queen?”
