Emmy Award winner Selena Gomez dropped the demo version of ‘Lose You To Love Me,’ which hit No.1 on the Billboard chart, on single’s one year anniversary.
The 28-year-old singer & actor Gomez uploaded on Instagram a short video clip from the official music video of the song and wrote that she was celebrating the 1st anniversary of the song by dropping the demo version of it.
Gomez called the song as one of the most important songs of her entire career, and added:
It’s been almost a year since I released one of the most important songs of my career and my first Billboard Number 1, ‘Lose You To Love Me.’ To celebrate with you, here’s the unreleased demo version that so many of you have asked for! 🖤
As fans’ remember, ‘Lose You to Love Me’ was released on October 23, 2019, as the lead single from Gomez’s third studio album, ‘Rare’ through Interscope Records. The song, written by Gomez, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, received highly positive acclaim from music critics. As for Gomez, who recently teamed up with BLACKPINK for the song ‘Ice Cream,’ was praised for her vocal performance.
The said song also debuted at number 15 on the Billboard chart and became Gomez’s first number-one single on the chart in its second week.
