The best-selling female music artist of all time, Madonna paid tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Supreme Court Justice, and co-founder of the Women’s Rights Project at the ACLU, following her devastating passing.
On Instagram, the “Queen of Pop” included various photos of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passed away from complications of pancreatic cancer on September 18, 2020, at the age of 87, and released the following message:
“The Notorious. RBG… This Woman—this Fearless Human did more for Women and this Country than most people know.”
As known, Ginsburg, whom Madonna described as “fearless human” was a pioneer for gender equality; she removed barriers created through sex discrimination and open opened numerous opportunities for women throughout her career.
In the statement shared on Instagram, Madonna also made an assumption about the future of The Supreme Court and the Judicial System in the United States by writing:
“She can never be replaced but let’s hope for the sake of The Supreme Court and the Judicial System in America that there will be no re-elections until Trump is out of office.”
The greatest woman in music, Madonna concluded her words as follows:
“Rest In Power Ruth Bader Ginsburg 🙏🏼 #ruthbaderginsburg”
