Alicia Keys Releases Self-Titled Album ‘ALICIA’ After 6 Months Delay

Fifteen-times Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys launched her seventh studio album simply titled ‘ALICIA’ on September 18 after six months later than expected due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 39-year-old singer released the great news through her verified Instagram account. Along with the cover art of the album, she wrote:

“#ALICIA is out right now!!!! I’m excited like it’s the first time!! I’m grateful to share all the different sides of me with you. I’m grateful you love me as I am! Press play and let the magic begin 💜💜💜🥳🥳🥳 ⁣”

In a recent interview with NPR‘s Audie Cornish, Keys, who describes ‘ALICIA’ as some of her most truthful and most authentic music, also revealed her favorite song on the album, by saying:

“(…) That’s a favorite for me, is called ‘Authors of Forever.’ What I really love about this song is, it goes on to talk about how we’re builders and we’re breakers, and we’re givers and we’re takers. I think that at one point in my life I was like, well, why do there have to be any takers — why can’t it just be builders? Why does it have to be any breakers — why can’t it just be givers? And I realized that you have to have all these sides. You can’t have one without the other.”

As remember, the singer’s seventh studio album has previewed with ‘So Done’ (featuring Khalid), ‘Love Looks Better’, ‘Perfect Way To Die’ & ‘Good Job’ and the said songs received numerous positive feedback.
