Megan Thee Stallion, who is best known for her chart-topping hits such as ‘Savage’ and ‘Hot Girl Summer,’ announced that she is the new face of the iconic makeup brand, Revlon.
According to the news released by PR News Wire, the 25-year-old rapper said that she wants to use her new role to stand for female strength:
“I’ve always set the bar high for myself with everything I do, but to now be a brand ambassador for Revlon, it feels like a new level. To me, the Revlon brand stands for both beauty and female strength and I’m excited to help define what that means to a new generation of women.”
As for Revlon Global Brand President, Silvia Galfo made the following statement concerning the collaboration with the ‘Savage’ rapper:
“Megan is a remarkable talent and we know she’s only going to continue to rise to new heights. When we first approached her about a partnership nearly a year ago, we were drawn to her confidence and fierce ambition as much as her power to hold nothing back. Megan, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, posted photos of herself to Instagram after did her own makeup using all Revlon including the Revlon ColorStay Looks Book Eye Shadow Palettes and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, and wrote the followings as a caption:
