American talk show host and media executive Oprah Winfrey, best known for her talk show, ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ goes on demanding justice for Breonna Taylor, having killed innocently by police officers inside her house.
As might be remembered, on March 13, ER technician Taylor was shot eight times in her apartment during a search for two suspects. The police officers who involved have been fired, but not charged yet.
Oprah, firstly put a picture of Breonna Taylor on the cover of O Magazine and then turned this cover into a billboard poster. After that, the greatest black philanthropist in American history bought 26 billboards and blanketed Louisville, Taylor’s hometown for demanding the arrest of the cops who shot Taylor.
The billboards read:
“Demand the police involved in killing Breonna Taylor be arrested and charged.”
Besides, billboards featured the Until Freedom website, an organization established to address systemic and racial injustice.
It was also stated that there are 26 billboards, one for each year of Taylor’s life.
