During an interview on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Australian singer and songwriter Sia Kate Isobelle Furler announced that she is a grandmother of twins now.
The 44-year-old new mom, who adopted two teenage boys in 2019, stated that one of her sons welcomed twins.
The ‘Titanium’ singer gave the news through the following words:
“My youngest son just had two babies. I’m just immediately horrified … No, I’m cool. They call me ‘Nana.’“
After that, Fuller, who received numerous music awards including ARIA Award, Grammy Award, MTV Video Music Award, told regarding her sons:
“They were 18 — they’re both 19 years old now. They were aging out of the foster care system. Yeah, and I love them.”
She also added that her sons are struggling with COVID-19 just like the rest of the world:
“They are both finding it pretty difficult — one more so than the other — but they’re both doing things that are really good for them right now. They’re really doing a lot of educational stuff that’s good for them.”
