The 2020 BET Awards found their owners on June 28.
American rapper & singer Megan Thee Stallion became one of those who received awards.
The ‘Savage’ singer won her first BET Award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist during the ceremony that Beyoncé was honored with the Humanitarian Award.
The ‘Captain Hook’ singer stated she has always dreamed of the day she would win this award while giving her acceptance speech.
The MTV Video Music Award-winning rapper also amazed her fans with her ‘Mad Max’-inspired 2020 BET Awards Performance, including the songs ‘Girls in the Hood’ and ‘Savage’ featuring Beyoncé.
After all, Stallion, expressed her feelings through her verified Instagram account, along with a photo of herself.
She wrote:
“BEST FEMALE HIP HOP ARTIST 😌 thank you @bet thank you hotties ! Make sure y’all catch my performance.”
