The singer & songwriter Billie Eilish, who is the youngest artist to have received four main Grammy categories, did a social media cleanse by unfollowing everybody on Instagram on June 24.
Before unfollowed her 600 Instagram follow list, the 18-year-old singer had written a note on her Instagram story which read:
“If I am following your abuser, DM me and I will unfollow them. I will support you.”
However, the ‘Bad Guy’ singer deleted this story almost 30 minutes later.
Eilish, who has 64.7 million followers on Instagram, uses her social media channels to post regarding social and political issues such as ‘Body Positivity’, ‘Black Lives Matter’, and ‘Racial Equality.’
As an artist who is highly “different from a lot of people,” her action did not shock anybody, however, it caused to arouse curiosity among fans.
According to the assumption of Metro, Billie took this action to remark to sexual abuse allegations about stars & celebrities.
